The wonderful choir is Williamson Voices led by Dr. James Jordan
and the piece is, Love's as Warm as Tears, by Paul Mealor.
Recently, I listened to this piece, which I have heard and sung a good number of times, in a new light. It is beautiful and it got me thinking, isn't making sound and expression through our own bodies one of the best ways we can love ourselves? And the sound of a choir is so heavenly. Why is that so? How can a part of us be angels and of amazing beauty to us? Well I think that is it; I think there is something deeply telling in that we one of our visions of heaven is through our own collective and harmonious voices, cocreating something we consider to be beautiful.
